Electromagnetic Interference / Electromagnetic Compatibility
Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), now often combined and called E3 for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects, are ubiquitous in our world today and to put yourself in an environment without EM radiation is a very hard task.
The EMC / EMI course looks at the sources of EM radiation, its effect on equipments and people and the techniques available to counter the problems.
This course also includes practical exercises in carrying out an EM survey, choosing and using suitable test equipment and locating / correcting problems.
