This course is an introduction into Radio Frequency engineering for those who have a minimal knowledge of electronic theory. Based on a modular form the form can be easily tailored to cover some areas in greater depth than others, as required.
Each module includes practical exercises to consolidate the theory and give experience in using various items of test equipment, including Multimeters, Oscilloscopes and Signal Sources.
The Syllabus is as follows:
Day One:
Resistance, Capacitance, Inductance.
Day Two
Tuned Circuits, Filters.
Day Three:
Transmission Lines, Aerials, Transformers.
Day Four:
Amplifiers, Oscillators.
Day Five
Modulators, Mixers, S Parameters.
