Radar techniques
This two day course looks at the RF techniques used in military and civilian radar systems, building on the knowledge gained in the ‘Introduction to RF Engineering course’.
The course syllabus covers Monopulse, Pulse Modulated and Pulse Compression techniques, Doppler radars, Combined Techniques, Frequency Agile Radars (FARs), Radar Antennas, Synthetic Aperture Radars (SARs), Ground Penetrating Radars (GPRs) and a brief look at Electronic Counter Measures (ECM).
The Radar Techniques course is modular in design, allowing it to be easily tailored to suit your needs. For bespoke courses a Training Needs Analysis is conducted to ensure that all training is relevant and meets customers requirements
Gaddon are happy to look at individual requirements for the open courses and providing the request does not exceed the course level, or detract for the suitability for other candidates, we are happy to adjust the Radar Techniques course to increase effectiveness.
On completion of the course the participants will::
Be able to describe several Radar Techniques
Understand the Radar Equation
Have knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of several Radar Techniques
