Gaddon and Asension sign agreement at DSEI

London, United Kingdom, 12 September 2023 – Marking the occasion at the Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) 2023 event, Gaddon, a United Kingdom-based specialist in radio frequency equipment training, officially signed an Agent Agreement contract with South Australia-based Asension, a leader in modern electronic warfare (EW) technology. This contract cements the distribution of Asension’s flagship Wombat product in the United Kingdom, further solidifying its international market position.

Commenting on the milestone, Ian White, Director of Gaddon, expressed “I am excited to be representing Asension and the Wombat technology across the United Kingdom, and I look forward to delivering electronic warfare and radio frequency training with this state-of-the-art product. The 19″ Rack Mounted Wombat that I will be using for my upcoming RF training and SDR courses has replaced more than 70 kilograms of older technology I had been using for similar courses previously, so the portability of the equipment was very important. Being able to both distribute and provide high quality training with the Wombat product will help fulfil the complex needs of Gaddon’s global customer base.”

Ian Spencer, Chief Executive Officer said “It’s great to be back in the UK for DSEI 2023, after meeting Ian White of Gaddon at Farnborough Airshow last year. We are back with the Australian delegation, working with Gaddon to show the brand-new Wombat 19″ Rack on our exhibit. Asension would like to thank Team Defence Australia and Austrade for the opportunity to exhibit at both events, which facilitated this successful partnership.”

Both Asension and Gaddon teams will be available for discussions regarding equipment and training needs at the upcoming Indo Pacific International Maritime Exposition in Sydney, Australia, from November 7 to 9, 2023.
